I just got off the phone speaking to 5 different people. I was put on hold for about 15 minutes, then spoke with retentions, after that she transferred me to Sidekick support, then I was put on hold because they transferred me to the wrong department (Flexpay support), and finally I went back to retentions. I spoke with the supervisor and the best offer I could get was a $118 discount on the My Touch 3g, and after the express shipping it would total to be $320 about. I mentioned how other customers are receiving their devices for a substantially lower price, and he said that was the best that he could do. On top of that, we ended up disputing for an hour and fifteen minutes before I just told him 'I'd think about it'. Seemed like he was really trying to get off the line, and he also said his manager was in a meeting. =/ At least my ETF is waived, but I believe if I were to sign up for Tmobile again, it'd have to be after 90 days. From what the supervisor has told me. The supervisor just insisted I stay with the Sidekick, but really after this crazy fiasco, who would? The supervisor kept telling me it was a 'simple' incident. I tried getting a G1 or a Mytouch for $150, but with no luck. He also told me my contract would be extended for another 2 years. Even though I was offered a 1 year price, which doesn't make sense at all. After all this work, patience, and perseverance, we don't deserve this. We deserve trust and reliability in both our phones and customer service. K, i'm done. Class starts soon.
Good luck to those who're trying to get a new phone!
Thanks for almost nothing.
